EARLY PROCYTE HISTORY

ProCyte Corporation was founded in 1986 by Dr. Loren Pickart and others based on research with metallic peptides and specifically Copper Peptide. ProCyte is the sole owner of these patents, know how and related intellectual property. Dr. Pickart left ProCyte in 1991. We are grateful for Dr. Pickart's early work, however, ProCyte developed the concepts, conducted studies and eventually formulated products that are currently available in the medical and consumer markets. We are disappointed that Dr. Pickart fails to give credit to the researchers at ProCyte who built on his early work to take Copper Peptide to a higher level.

This early pioneering work identified the human bodies' own natural carrier of copper, the amino acid sequence GHK. It is this amino acid sequence, when complexed to copper, that the receptor cells readily recognize and accept. GHK is one of the specific amino acid chains that ProCyte synthesizes and complexes to copper. ProCyte and our partners have conducted numerous studies on GHK and other Copper Peptides, such as AHK Copper Peptide. GHK and AHK Copper Peptides have a true blue color of bioprotective copper. This shows that these special amino acid sequences have been properly complexed to the copper, allowing for natural delivery to the body. It is this unique and patented complexation that makes GHK and AHK Copper Peptides so successful.

There will always be imitators, but none containing our patented Copper Peptides.
