PROCYTE LAUNCHES PINK RIBBON BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Encourages Women to Talk about Health Issues and Skin Care
Redmond, Wash.—September 28, 2004—ProCyte Corporation (OTCBB: PRCY.OB), a company that develops and markets skin
care and procedure related products for the dermatology, cosmetic
surgery and spa markets today announced a promotion supporting breast cancer awareness and
wellness during October’s 20th Anniversary of National Breast
Cancer Awareness Month.
As part of this promotion, ProCyte Corporation is introducing a special edition Pink Ribbon
Neova® Herbal Wash to its physician customers and a portion
of the product proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research
initiatives. Herbal Wash, a soap free, refreshing botanical cleanser is
the Company’s most popular skin cleanser and appeals to women of all
ages. The attractively packaged product is perfect for travel, as a
gift or as a show of support for a friend touched by breast cancer.
Statistics
predict that in 2004 alone 216,000 American women will be diagnosed with
breast cancer (Susan G. Komen Foundation, 2004). The Pink Ribbon Neova®
Herbal Wash Promotion is intended to persuade women to talk to their
mothers, sisters and friends in spreading the word about breast cancer
awareness and open them up to discussing additional personal issues such
